NestPrint is developed by Mark Frohman and MFStudios (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy explains what information is collected when you use NestPrint (the application) and nestprint.app (the website), and what we do with it.
We built NestPrint to work entirely on your own Mac, with no account required and no data sent to us as part of normal use. This policy is short because there genuinely isn’t much to say.
1. The Application
What NestPrint Does Not Do
- NestPrint does not require you to create an account
- NestPrint does not collect, transmit, or store your images, print layouts, or any content you create
- NestPrint does not include analytics, usage tracking, or telemetry of any kind
- Your
.nestprintfiles, imported images, and exported output stay on your Mac (or wherever you choose to save them) and are never sent to us
License Validation
When you activate NestPrint with a license key, validation happens entirely on your device. No internet connection is required to activate or use your license, and no information about your activation is transmitted to us or to any third party.
Software Updates
NestPrint checks for updates by contacting nestprint.app/appcast.xml. This is a standard web request and, like any request to any website, your Mac’s IP address is visible to our hosting provider as part of normal web server operation. We do not use this information to identify you individually, and we do not combine it with any other data. You can disable automatic update checks at any time in NestPrint’s preferences; manual update checks work the same way.
Crash Reports
NestPrint does not automatically collect or transmit crash reports. If you choose to send us diagnostic information (for example, when reporting a bug), you do so manually and voluntarily by email — see Contact below.
2. Purchasing NestPrint
NestPrint is sold through Paddle.com Market Limited, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. When you buy NestPrint, Paddle collects your payment information, billing address, and email address directly — we never see or store your payment card details.
Paddle shares with us the information necessary to deliver your license and provide support: your name, email address, and purchase details (date, price paid, license key issued). We use this only to:
- Deliver your license key
- Provide customer support if you contact us
- Notify you of major product updates or security issues, if necessary
We do not sell, rent, or share your purchase information with any third party for marketing purposes.
Paddle’s own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment and billing data: https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy
3. The Website (nestprint.app)
- nestprint.app does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking
- [If using any analytics tool, e.g. Plausible/Fathom/Google Analytics, name it here and describe what it collects]
- [If using a contact form, note what fields are collected and that submissions are used only to respond to inquiries]
- Downloading the NestPrint trial or purchasing a license does not require creating a website account
4. Beta Testing
If you participated in NestPrint’s beta testing program, any feedback, bug reports, or testimonials you provided were shared voluntarily. We will only use your name and testimonial quote publicly (for example, on nestprint.app) if you’ve given explicit permission to do so.
5. Data Retention
- License and purchase records are retained for as long as necessary to provide support and comply with tax and accounting obligations
- Support email correspondence is retained as long as reasonably needed to resolve and reference past issues
- We do not retain any data about your use of NestPrint itself, because none is collected
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you (primarily your name, email, and purchase record via Paddle). To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below, or contact Paddle directly regarding payment/billing information.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or UK, you have rights under GDPR; if you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA.
7. Children’s Privacy
NestPrint is a professional tool intended for adult photographers, printmakers, and studio professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
8. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how your information is used will be communicated via email to licensed customers where practical.

Questions about this policy or your information:
This policy covers NestPrint and nestprint.app only. It does not cover third-party services we rely on (Paddle for payments, [hosting provider] for website hosting, [analytics provider if any]), each of which has its own privacy policy governing the data they independently collect.
